A significant natural or human-caused hazard would have an impact on the Lane County's people, services and facilities. In recent years, new scientific information and news of other disasters throughout the U.S. and the world have provided heightened awareness of the threats and possible consequences of disasters and an ever-more-vivid picture of our vulnerabilities.

The hazard information page is currently under development and is intended to provide a brief overview of the hazards Lane County faces as well as links to resources such as:

Regional and national organizations;
Assessment tools/resources; and
State's natural hazard chapters
